  1. Dear Tin Ear,
I noticed your blogs were a few days not accessable, but I couldn't reach you ... I had no email address! Anyway, I'm glad you're " in the air" again and hope you find some fun in continuing your blogs. If you're going to work with a guest list, I'd like to be on that list...
    Best wishes, Satyr / Rolf

    1. Hello Satyr.
As I just mentioned to Andrew on the Weingartner/Beecham post, elsewhere, I saw there was no email link..but 'assumed' that my email addresses would be known to many.

I wouldn't do a Private list - very cliquey - but I've now got storage problems - and don't wish to constantly check whether files have 'vanished' - which they will do (on Zippy - the Beethoven/ 5/Schnabel I found had been deleted - but nobody bothered mentioning that...) if I don't keep uploading new material - hence I've put the lot onto Mega....leaving room for only a few more hours of material

Anyway; your LP purchase of very dead singers looks rather recherche!!

  2. Many thanks, among the others, for this and the Franck release...not the kind of music i've prior paid any attention to, yet find it's seriousness captivating - excellent for pensive moments (like the Franck, too.)

  3. I have been also neglecting your site of late – my apologies – an silly accident (not life-threatening but enough to knock me out of circulation for a few months) prevented much participation in anything. However, like a kid locked in a sweetshop I have now been manically grabbing at your uploaded files so see how many wonders can be sampled, and to catch up with what I have been missing.

I am particularly fond of this recording at the moment (pensive is good for me right now), and again I would just like to thank you for the time and trouble you go to in providing these files. You may not think so, but your efforts are very much appreciated - at least from these quarters.

    All good wishes, Graham.

    1. Hello Graham,
To a fair-degree I've been neglecting these blogs this year: seem to have vast thousands of unplayed LP's that are 'worth a listen'...re-uploading some olde material (such as this) was a bit lazy - but saved some time (and this ACL transfer was anyway a great improvement on the original LXT).

I'll have to try obtaining 'another' Mega account as am in, more or less, the same lack-of-storage situation as mentioned above..
