  1. Brilliant. Thank you once again.

And that's the best - and the best sounding, which doesn't hurt - FDR i've ever heard, even if the cuts are regrettable.

    1. Pretty impressive (though the Granados suffers from some inferior sound nearing the end): and the orchestral playing is very exciting.
Due to the 'repetitive material' I can't say I really notice the cut/s (not the case with Toscanini/Kletzki 'Manfred's').

I have another excellent Paris Conservatoire (ignoring the Fistoulari 'Ballet' previously on MP) nearing completion: Schuricht/Wagner: Gotterdamurung/Tristan (original LXT + an ACL side: this not on CD (except for a Jap issue, I think); but am pondering whether now to start charging for some files- or continue only on the basis I get sufficient 'donations' to cover my costs..

    2. I'd probably have more success if I could resort to Blackmail (having seen a few 'comments' on the subject of 'acquiring donations'.....)

It re-occurred to me (again) as have test-transferred Mitropoulos/NYPO: Mendelssohn 3/5 - mentioned as a recent 'want' on the Mitropoulos: Prokofiev/Stravinsky thread; and my dub was stupidly better than Mr Pristine's Abomination: and he gets €€€€€'s for such Debased Crapola...

Anyway: was just cheered-up seeing this blog referred-to as 'beautiful'...

  2. Supposedly people who made the early transistor circuitry masterings were paid, too, so things haven't changed that much! For some reason just remembered a quote attributed to Solomon regarding 'guilt' and 'riches' ;)
