  1. Many thanks for these fabulous sounding recordings!

Is Borodin left out from the notes accidentally (was unsuccesfully looking for its recording date), or so included in the files?

    1. Originally uploaded the Borodin - but from my 2 disc 78-set - one of which was 'split'; but the older software, amazingly, disguised that.
The sleeve-scan is of my mint LP - which compares very badly with the 78's - so decided not to bother when these were re-uploaded (nothing wrong with the performance).

These superb LP's have managed to resist any prior comment: some aren't even on CD: so much for my efforts !!!

  2. Oh, i see - now i'm finally starting to understand about these LP covers and issues... thanks very much for providing these scans also, by the way.

Borodin, however, is included in the zip (so it's 5 files) - and i did note the much inferior sound (sorry, again, for the vagueness of my comment). i downloaded this again (instead of looking for it from my archives) because i'm 'rationalizing' my CD-R's now, burning a lot of stuff anew more coherently than i could at first try over a year ago - it was a mistake to try and make use of the space as efficiently as possible... ;)

    1. Oh!! - that was a mistake - likely due to re-uploading loads as new zip files - so quickly copied all the Beinum's without omitting that...but it wasn't there previously .
      Info now added..

    3. Actually - listening to it now, I realise it's the dreadful LP version!

    4. And i thought i had misunderstood something about the 78, ha-ha! Now all's clear, i think. The sound does get pretty 'disintegrated' even at some points.
