  1. First of all, Thanks!
I've downloaded it a couple of weeks ago but I didn't have the chance to listen it until today.
Your transfers--as usual--are splendid: in a blind test nobody could realize that the source was a radio transmission. CONGRATULATIONS!

    1. Very rarely retain Radio material - except for spoken word - as the transmission chain can so often 'mangle' the sound (and The Proms are/were too often pretty badly balanced).
This, however, was rather good; also not too surprising about the subsequent commercial CD in view of the terrific performances.
      .
There's usually a slight trace of 'FM hiss' somewhere (especially as the tuner can 'interact' with the digital circuitry when directly-connected, as here) - but (I think) it's the Fountain you can hear in the quieter sections of the Glinka....

The T55 really was a top-flight (mid 70's) FM tuner...still have one (of 3) attached in my 1978 B&W/Meridian system.
