  1. What a treat to have this LIVE recital! (Vengerov recorded these selections in the studio for EMI, but the antiseptic ambiance does not even come close to the thrill of a concert hall sound.)

    I'm still a bit non-plussed as to why there's an enormous divergence between the two files (in terms of downloads) but, anyway, thought this might be of some interest to those who had the previously-recorded EMI CD, as the audience/occasion does add to the inherent interest-value (though was tempted to edit-out Penny Gore..).
