  1. It's nice to hear these songs in French. I've only heard them this way in the French version of the 1931 Pabst movie L'Opera de quat'sous - Jerry

Well - at least that post has broken 'the Duck') If I was still running the 'Popular Music Parlour' (which is sleeping) I'd be tempted (given the substantial popularity of this post) to upload quite a lot more 1950's 'French Cabaret' type material - and Juliette Greco also recorded some Weill - which I was tempted to add to this post.
